I am delighted that you stopped to visit my web site. I have an extensive technical background and have been doing web development for over 10 years. I spent several years writing training manuals for various graphics software and was fortunate to win several awards for those efforts. I briefly turned to e-learning and developed an award-winning training CD in 2003 for Microsoft. In addition, I also have an extensive background in database publishing and working with databases. All of that experience serves me well for web development. Please check out my web site portfolio.

For photography, I have been shooting primarily action photography for about 3 years. I have the fortunate honor to be the official photographer for the Miss Junior Waller County Pageant; for the last two years, Culture Shapers; and I handle the web media for the Waller County Fair Association. Most of my work has been dedicated to supporting the community through various projects. Just recently I had a photo take second place in the Featured Story division at the 2010 Texas Better Newspaper Contest presented by The Texas Press Association.

Recently I decided to branch out and see how I can do as a freelance photographer and videographer. My love for photography and videography grew from the web as a creative source. Recently I have ventured into portrait photography. Future plans include expanding into capturing those wonderful weddings and other important events. I plan on also dabbling in fine art photography as an extension of the basic expression of photography. I would like to invite you to check out my sample photo portfolio.

So, what is "The Art of You" anyway?

It's not just a slogan, it's a philosophy. When I started Yokom Studios it was an effort to express myself more creatively using technical tools for web design, video and photography. Over the years I have come to believe that we all have creativity, but maybe not the time or tools to express it. "The Art of You" became not only a slogan, but more importantly, a reflection of what I believe. When I work with clients I try to discover exactly what they are trying to express. I am merely a tool to help them achieve their goal creatively. So, when we are done with a project, it really becomes The Art of You...
